Microdermabrasion, also known as the Parisian Peel, is the latest technology available in the world of skin peeling.
The process involves a combination of mild suction coupled with a mild abrasion using diamond tipped wands which are
passed across the skin. Unlike acid or laser resurfacing treatments, which removes several layers of the skin in one treatment,
a single microdermabrasion peel removes only the topmost dead skin cells. Repeated treatments (sometimes as many as 10-12)
are required to diminish lines and remove superficial brown spots. The microdermabrasion also corrects conditions of sun damaged
skin, enlarged/oily pores, reduction of acne scars, acne conditions, blackheads, whiteheads, and post traumatic hyper pigmentation.
Clinical trials are currently being undertaken regarding the effectiveness of microdermabrasion treatments for stretch marks.
Treatments can be repeated as often as every ten days to two weeks. After a treatment, your skin will have a warm, pinkish
